We’ve all been there… you walk into Sephora for that one item & before you know it, you leave with your bank account crying in the distance. As much as we all would love to just go off & endlessly spend on whatever our hearts’ desire that is not always realistic (for most of us anyway). Being a student, I know that dropping hundreds at Sephora is just not an option… so I have thrown together some inexpensive products that are in my opinion, miracle workers & prevent from drying out your hard earned savings.

1. No7 Stay Perfect Foundation - $15.99

I think a good foundation is the key to every good look. It keeps your skin looking smooth & fresh. I still tend to break out (even though I am in my mid twenties) & I love that this foundation works like a concealer. It’s a one stop shop & it leaves your skin feeling smooth & silky rather than caked on. The best part is that it lasts all day & a little really goes a long way.

2. Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer - $14.99

I have always loved Physicians Formula’s product so when I stumbled across their Butter Bronzer I knew I had to try it out (maybe it’s the fact that I am a sucker for packaging too). It also has a coconut scent to it which makes you instantly feel like you’re on vacation… which is always a perk!

3. TRESemme Keratin Smooth Serum - $5.99

I love this product because a little REAlLY goes a long way. I apply it to damp hair after I get out of the shower. It makes combing out my hair so much easier & it gives my hair that shine look without weighing it down & making it look greasy.

4.REVLON PhotoReady Concealer- $7.49

I have used this product since I was in high school & it has always been one of my favorites. It’s nothing fancy but it does the job & is perfect to just throw in your bag for touch ups. It’s great for covering up dark circles too which I am prone to after long nights of studying.

5. e.l.f. Lip Matte - $3.00

The brand e.l.f’s entire mission is to educate women that they don’t need to spend a fortune on makeup in order to get high quality products. This lip matte is one I always wear. They have a variety of colors & at $3.00 you really can’t beat it. I bought a few & keep them in my different bags for when I am out & about. They are awesome because they last a while & they don’t transfer when you give kisses. Every girl needs at least one!

6. St. Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Moisturizer -$5.00

This lotion has been recommended by Dr. Oz as his favorite anti aging lotion! You get a massive tub of it & it only costs $5.00. Not sure how that is possible but I’m not complaining. The best part is that it really works. It leaves my skin feeling so silky & smooth. It’s probably my favorite thing on this list to be honest. I also use it on my face & I swear it is helping my wrinkles between my eyebrows & the circles under my eyes.

7. CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion Mascara - $8.99

This mascara I swear by! It makes your eyelashes look so long & people will ask you how you manage to get your lashes to look so thick. It is the best of the best & an old staple that you can pick up at any drugstore. It is extremely long-lasting & waterproof so it doesn’t leak or flake off throughout the day which is a must for me!

8. Beautyblender - $20.00

My best friend has raved about this forever & I always bought the cheap ones from Target. I figured it would work the same...but let me tell ya, I was wrong! I finally splurged on one of these guys (they are on the pricy side) but now I have completely converted. I get it wet, wring it out, & then add a couple drops of my foundation to the sponge. You never get ANY foundation streaks & it goes on SO smooth & evenly. Seriously you won’t regret it. My bestie keeps telling me she told me so & I wish I would have listened to her sooner!
