Dear Comfort Silkie Family,

We are thrilled to introduce ourselves—Paige and Steve—as the new owners of Comfort Silkie, a beloved brand that has been a part of so many families for nearly 38 years. As parents to two young children, we are especially excited to carry forward this incredible legacy and can’t wait to continue the tradition of warmth, comfort, and love that has been the hallmark of Comfort Silkie since its creation.

Comfort Silkie has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with one of these iconic baby blankets, a treasured companion that gave me comfort and warmth through so many of life’s milestones. As I’ve grown, I’ve continued the tradition by gifting these beautiful blankets to friends and family, knowing firsthand the love and joy they bring. My son (2) and daughter (10mo.), each have their very own Comfort Silkie, and enjoy the security and comfort these special blankies bring. To now have the opportunity to carry that legacy forward alongside my husband, Steve, is a dream come true.

We want to assure you that, as the business transitions, Comfort Silkie will continue to be made with love and care, right here in the USA. Comfort Silkie’s commitment to quality remains unwavering, and we will ensure that every blanket continues to meet the high standards of comfort and durability that you’ve come to know and love.

As we make this transition, there may be slight delays in shipping. We ask for your patience and understanding as we work hard to ensure every order is honored and delivered with the utmost care. After 38 years of providing comfort products to babies and families, it’s time to say goodbye. Our family business, founded on love, care, and dedication, has been a trusted name for generations. Every product we’ve created was made with a deep sense of responsibility to the families who welcomed our products into their homes. 

I feel like we have shared a lot of life together over the past 38 years. 
Comfort Silkie has helped us all weather many of life’s seasons.
From newborn babies to toddler years, and then kids to teens and to adults …
Comfort Silkie has made life better for us all.
We are forever grateful for the moments Comfort Silkie has been there for you.
It may sound like overreach, but we feel connected to you through our Comfort Silkies.

This has been more than a product line, it has been a lifestyle, and we will miss you.

While this chapter closes for us, the legacy of care and quality we built, will live on. We are closing our website to orders on April 1, 2024. The new owners are starting production and will begin taking orders soon.
