Snuggled his Silkie and went right back to sleep.

My boyfriend and I were at his friend's house one night when his wife told me all about how much her children LOVED their Comfort Silkies. She and I were talking after the kids went to sleep and she had the baby monitor on their 18 month old. He started waking himself up and she looked over and started saying, "Find your Silkie, find your Silkie!." He found his Silkie, snuggled up to it and went right back to sleep. I asked her what she was talking about and that's when she told me how much she loved the Comfort Silkies. She said they were totally different from all the other minky type blankets she had, and that there was just something about them that made them really special. After seeing how quickly her son self-soothed and went back to sleep, I came home and bought one for each of my 5 pregnant friends at the time. This is my second batch, as I have 3 more friends who are having babies.

Get a backup silkie for traveling!

My son is now 24 years old; he had numerous Comfort Silkies when he was growing up. I remember once we were traveling and he left his Silkie on the plane and we had to call your company in a panic and have another shipped via express mail.
I now give them as gifts to family and friends when new babies arrive!!
