My friend who has 9 grandchildren (each one had a silkie) gave me one for my grandson who just LOVES it. He lays on his side, cuddles his silkie and goes right to sleep.
My neighbor's daughter just gave birth to a little boy who will need heart surgery in the fall. I was reading your article about how this silkie may hold the scent of the mother to accompany a child who is separated from mom and I thought this may be the perfect gift for them. -
