After 38 years of providing comfort products to babies and families, it’s time to say goodbye. Our family business, founded on love, care, and dedication, has been a trusted name for generations. Every product we’ve created was made with a deep sense of responsibility to the families who welcomed our products into their homes. 

I feel like we have shared a lot of life together over the past 38 years. 
Comfort Silkie has helped us all weather many of life’s seasons.
From newborn babies to toddler years, and then kids to teens and to adults …
Comfort Silkie has made life better for us all.
We are forever grateful for the moments Comfort Silkie has been there for you.
It may sound like overreach, but we feel connected to you through our Comfort Silkies.

This has been more than a product line, it has been a lifestyle, and we will miss you.

While this chapter closes for us, the legacy of care and quality we built, will live on. We are closing our website to orders on April 1, 2024. The new owners are starting production and will begin taking orders soon.

Life sometimes interrupts the best of plans!

We had hoped to retire and sell the Comfort Silkie brand by the end of 2024. 

We have been delayed in pursuing the sale; as Greg had an unexpected surgery, my mother passed suddenly,

and I was in an accident and broke some ribs.

However, now in Spring 2025 we will be focusing on the transition/sale of Comfort Silkie and our retirement. 
We were overwhelmed with buyer interest and your heartfelt responses to our news. Thank you! 

We had planned to close this warehouse early 2025 but will continue to produce/ship orders until we have the perfect buyer!

Dear Comfort Silkie Customers,

After 38 wonderful years of bringing comfort, we (Greg and Jeanelle) are retiring and selling the Comfort Silkie brand. 

It is with mixed emotions that we end this amazing journey. It is time for someone else to carry on the comfort legacy.

 

From the very beginning, when we designed and patented the first-ever little baby security blanket and infant swaddler, our mission has been simple:

to make soothing products that change lives through comfort. Your trust in our products has meant the world to us. 

 

The plan is, that our beloved business will be sold to new owners who will continue the Comfort Silkie legacy, just as we have done for nearly four decades. Until then, we thank you with all our hearts for making Comfort Silkie a part of your lives - you feel like family.
 

We will be updating here and to our newsletter subscribers about the sale of Comfort Silkie and when our final production/ship dates are. 
All orders will be processed and shipped before we close our manufacturing warehouse.
