The Light of the World

I can’t wait to put up the Christmas lights. Twinkly and white and magical, it is a wonderful feeling. The evening darkness comes so early in December and is the perfect back drop to the glowing lights. I have collected special Christmas items over the years and fill the house with all kinds of twinkling splendor. 

I can’t get enough of the wonder of Christmas.

We have little lighted village and special lighted trees.
                                                       

Mostly I love the lights.
I think something in my soul remembers each time I see them that I have been called out of darkness
into His marvelous light.

I am forever grateful.

Christmas reminds me to treasure the sweet moments of my life.
To be thankful for the good news that those living in darkness have seen a great light.

Jesus spoke and said,
"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12
